Fish

Fish have  been represented in art for thousands of years and across most cultures.  They have been painted and sculpted by some of our most revered artists, including Turner and Picasso.

I constantly return to fish as a theme.  I love to play around with their pattern and shape, each adjustment subtly changing their character.  

I often paint coloured slips onto newspaper and transfer the image, which adds texture.
